Prior to scheduling, the attorney noticing the motion shall attempt to resolve the matter and shall certify to the Court the good faith attempt to resolve. Upon reservation of the hearing date, a notice of hearing must be filed with the Clerk's office and if such notice is not attached upon reservation, a copy should be sent to the Court at should always attempt to clear a date chosen with opposing counsel. Scheduling UMC Hearingsīefore scheduling, attorneys must first file the motion and give opposing side(s) at least five (5) business days' notice, unless parties agree to short notice.
